Services include but are not limited to kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, home additions, ADU construction, outdoor living spaces, and full home remodeling.

Project Contracts and Proposals
All construction and remodeling projects require a separate written contract specifying scope of work, project timeline, payment schedule, materials, and other project-specific terms. The project contract supersedes these general Terms of Service for matters specifically addressed in the contract.
Estimates and Pricing
Estimates provided through our website, consultations, or proposals are approximate and subject to change based on actual project conditions, material costs, design changes, and unforeseen circumstances. Final pricing will be established in your project contract.
Free consultations and estimates are provided without obligation. However, detailed design work, engineering plans, or specialized assessments may incur fees as discussed prior to engagement.
Licensing and Insurance
ACE Design & Build is a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor operating in the State of California. Our California State License Board (CSLB) license number and insurance documentation are available upon request.
Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your property and project requirements
- Ensure we have reasonable access to the project site during agreed-upon working hours
- Make timely decisions on design selections, materials, and change orders
- Adhere to the payment schedule outlined in your project contract
- Obtain any required homeowner association (HOA) approvals prior to project commencement
- Inform us of any known property conditions that may affect the project
Permits and Regulations
ACE Design & Build will obtain all necessary building permits and ensure work complies with applicable local building codes and regulations. Permit fees are typically included in the project proposal unless otherwise noted. The timeline for permit approval is determined by local authorities and is outside our direct control.
Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms and coverage periods will be detailed in your project contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the respective manufacturer terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACE Design & Build shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Intellectual Property
All content on the ACE Design & Build website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is our property or used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.
Custom designs, plans, and drawings created for your project remain the intellectual property of ACE Design & Build until full payment is received, at which point design rights transfer to the client as specified in the project contract.

- Submit false or misleading information through our forms
- Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of our website
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce website content without permission

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with California law.
Indemnification
